My path to philosophy has been shaped by a lifetime of teaching and making music. I’ve been teaching music since 1990 and have been privileged to work with thousands of students of all ages—guiding them to grow their skills, build their confidence, and find creative expression.
Music has always inspired me. Philosophy has parallels to music that I don’t fully understand. I’ve been obsessed with the question “Why?” since I was a kid. I’ve spent decades studying philosophy, literature, and the great questions of life. Philosophy with Lance is the place where these threads come together: a space for earnest conversation, deeper understanding, and the ongoing pursuit of wisdom.
